If you are working with children in Duns parish Church you are required to have filled in paperwork in order to fulfill the current child protection legislation.  For anyone who hasn’t done this before now, you will now be required to under go a process called “Disclosure” where paperwork is not simply checked by the Church of Scotland but by a legislative bureau who will take references and make police checks on you. It is also very beneficial if you are able and willing to attend child protection training.
