If you’re new to a church it can take a while to get to know people. In the meantime here are a few faces you might look out for…

This is Andrew Morrice. He’s our minister and is married to Sarah and they have 3 children Peter, Anna and Matthew and a dog, Boris. He is also a foster dad. He is a keen Hearts supporter and enjoys a weekly kickabout on a Thursday night (ask for more details if you’re interested!).
Peter Johnson is the clerk to the Kirk Session. Peter is married to Molly and they live in Todlaw Road where they enjoy gardening amongst other things to keep them busy. Peter is a member of the Duns History Society and a hard-working clerk of the Duns Presbytery.
Di Murray has recently become the Clerk to the (Congregational) Board. She is married to Wattie, has 3 boys and lives up at Burnhouses farm which the family shares with some ostriches! Di has been involved in children’s work in the church and is part of one of the mums’ bible study groups.
Our organist, Ronald Drummond, is a talented musician who is employed by the church to play the organ at our Sunday services. He is married to Karen and they have 2 daughters. Ronald is a music and guidance teacher at BHS. He also manages the church choir who support us in worship on a Sunday and sometimes give concerts of their own too.
This is Fiona Gaddes. Fiona is our church treasurer. She lives in Duns and works as a solicitor at JD Clark and Allan. When not working, she can often be found exploring the beautiful woodland on the castle estate or practising for the next choir concert!
