| What’s New in July 08…. |
| After a break in 2007, holiday club is back this summer with Sniffer & co - spy service! If you’d like to be on the team see Sarah or Andrew. Margaret Nairn and friends are organising lunch for the team - do speak to her if you could help in this way. Thanks to all those collecting “junk”, bringing juice and biscuits or gathering other bits and pieces. We really appreciate your help!

| REIVERS WEEK (Sun 6th - Sat 12th July) The week begins with the Kirkin’ O the Reiver Service in the church at 10.30am on Sunday 6th July. This is a traditional all-age service which begins the Duns summer festival week. We usually have many visitors with us - all welcome to this special service. Tuesday 8th is the traditional Covenanters Service on Duns Law. The Reiver and his party join us and this begins at 6.30pm. There will be NO Kirk Cafe during Reivers Week this year due to the hall renovations. The traditional Guild Strawberry Tea will be held in Turnbull Court instead of in the church hall. This will be on Wednesday 9th July at 2pm, admission £2.50. |

| Due to the work going on in the church halls at the moment the church Coffee Morning will be in Turnbull Court on Saturday 7th June from 10am. |
| Michelle Livingstone and Sheila Sim went back to Peru this summer early in the morning on Monday 30th June with the Vine Trust on a fortnights workparty similar to last years. Click to read the latest Vine Trust Newsletter or view their job advertisement. |
| The minister, Andrew and his family will be away from 14th July until 29th. Services on 20th and 27th July will be taken by Rev Alastair Morrice. If you’d like to speak to a minister during this time please contact Rev Ann Inglis on 890289.
During the summer holidays there will be a holiday Sunday Club from halfway through the Sunday service where all sunday club age-groups will be together in the halls and different folks will be taking different weeks. Creche will be on as normal. |
