Sunday @10.30am
On Sundays at 10.30am we have a reasonably traditional order of service combining old and new praise, prayer and a teaching time for help with understanding the bible and how it relates to us. If you’re visiting us for the first time, note that someone will be at the door to say hello and give you a notice/information sheet. Our songs are projected onto screens but printed versions are available if you ask the someone on the Welcome Team. There is a creche available from 10.30am in the hall and a Sunday Club, with activities for youngsters up to the age of 15, during the adults teaching time which is roughly halfway through the service. Our services are recorded onto CD for anyone unable to attend and can be found at the bookstall.
Three or four times a year we have an “all-age service” where a more child-friendly format is used so we can worship and learn together as a “church family”. On these Sundays children stay in the church through the whole service although there is still a creche for the tinies. We celebrate “communion” 4 times a year. These services also have a slightly different format, as we eat bread and drink wine together to remember Jesus’ death.
Tea and coffee is served in the hall after all our services so we can catch up with each other and get to know new-comers. There is also a Fair Trade stall and a bookstall selling all kinds of christian literature and bibles.
You are very welcome to come along and join us any Sunday - we look forward to meeting you!
